India’s Biggest Chocolate Eclair Pyramid

Gurgaon, witnessed India's Biggest Chocolate Éclair Pyramid that was made out of 16,000 Chocolate filled Eclairs. 8m high and 4.5 m wide, standing at the podium, all covered with melted chocolate led to a bout of interest amid all the chocolate lovers of NCR, who stood there watching in disbelief.

12 contestants of Star's Amul Master Chef India along with, 25 chefs of The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon, Chef Kunal Kapoor and Chef Ajay Chopra made the impossible, possible by creating country's biggest chocolate éclair pyramid at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.

1000 liters of milk, 800 kg of flour, 500 kg of butter, 450 kg of chocolate and as many as 20,000 egg have been used to make the biggest chocolate filled Éclairs. Edible colours like golden, bronze and silver were also consumed.

While the entire preparation took 72 hours, it took 12 days for the chefs to conceptualize and work out the whole thing.

The top 12 contestants are Joe Baath, Ankita Chakravorty, Jayanandan Bhasker, Kandla Nijhowne, Pritesh Chotani, Shweta Pareek, Parul Sukhwani, Archana Chavan, Radhika Agarwaal, Zebi Zubair, Pankaj Bhadouria and Smita Dugar. The show is hosted by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is aired on Star plus.

Huge rollers and gigantic paint brushes were brought in, to give finishing touches to this chocolate wonder of India.
