Aarav Singh, a young environmentalist from Punjab, is making waves with his passionate efforts to combat climate change and promote sustainability at the grassroots level. Inspired by the environmental challenges facing his village, Aarav began his journey at just 14 years old, initiating tree-planting drives, plastic-free campaigns, and community clean-up programs in schools and rural areas.
One of Aarav’s key initiatives has been promoting rainwater harvesting in Punjab’s water-stressed regions. By collaborating with local schools and panchayats, he has helped install eco-friendly water systems and conducted workshops on water conservation, waste segregation, and eco-conscious living. Aarav’s leadership has earned him recognition as a youth climate ambassador in several state-level platforms.
