Vivekananda Babu, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, founded it with a vision far beyond awards, to be the keeper of India’s spirit, talent, and truth.
The foundation of this journey was built on two unshakable pillars of human nature,Pride and Ego. They are not flaws; they are forces. Without them, no dream ignites, no revolution begins. Pride gives purpose; Ego gives identity. Together, they shape ambition, resilience, and evolution. From childhood innocence to elder wisdom, Pride and Ego grow, collide, and mature, from “I did it!” to “I gave it all.”
Across all ages, Pride itself unfolds in two profound forms, Constructive Pride, which embodies confidence, dignity, gratitude, and the joy of doing good; and Destructive Pride, which breeds arrogance, superiority, and the inability to apologize or empathize. True greatness lies in choosing the constructive, the kind, and the courageous, for that is where real pride lives.
Drawing from Freud’s classic theory, the Id (“I want it now”),Ego (“Let’s do what’s practical”), and Superego (“You must do what’s right”),I realized that every human’s journey is a dance between desire, discipline, and dignity. Thus, the Indian Book of Records was born, not to compete, but to complete the nation’s story by recognizing every heartbeat that dares to stand out.
