Harbhajan Singh

Punjab’s Hall Of Fame

India’s Premier Off-Spin Bowler | Cricketing Maestro | Team India Stalwart
Harbhajan Singh was born on July 3, 1980, in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Known affectionately as the “Turbanator”, Harbhajan is one of India’s most successful and celebrated off-spin bowlers. His sharp turn, clever variations, and fierce competitive spirit made him a vital part of the Indian cricket team for over a decade.

Harbhajan played a crucial role in many of India’s landmark victories, including the 2001 Test series win against Australia, where his hat-trick at the Eden Gardens became legendary. He was also an integral member of the team that won the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Beyond his bowling prowess, Harbhajan’s passion and leadership inspired younger players. He retired from international cricket in 2020 but continues to be involved in cricket as a mentor, commentator, and cricket ambassador, leaving a lasting legacy in Indian and world cricket.
