Himanshu Sekhar Nayak, hailing from Puri, Odisha, is a passionate environmentalist known for his tireless afforestation efforts across the coastal regions of the state. Over the years, he has single-handedly planted more than 70,000 trees, transforming barren patches into green corridors and promoting eco-awareness in schools, villages, and public spaces.
He uses his personal savings and often works alone, without waiting for government grants or recognition. Driven purely by a love for nature and a commitment to fighting climate change, he believes that planting trees is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to give back to the planet.
