Jui Abhijit Keskar is a young innovator from Pune, Maharashtra, who won the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2022 in the Innovation category for creating JTremor-3D, a wearable device that tracks tremors in Parkinson’s disease patients. Her invention was motivated by her uncle’s struggle with Parkinson’s, and it aims to provide doctors with objective, quantifiable data to better monitor tremors and plan treatment. At a young age, Jui has already received several national awards including the “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignited Mind Children Innovation & Creativity Award” and a Grand Award at the IRIS National Fair.
