Kamal Haasan is a highly acclaimed Indian actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, and politician, known for his versatility and innovation in Indian cinema. Born on November 7, 1954, in Paramakudi, Tamil Nadu, he began his acting career as a child artist and quickly rose to fame with his powerful performances in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. Over his decades-long career, he has acted in more than 200 films and is celebrated for taking on challenging roles and pushing creative boundaries.

Kamal Haasan is not only an exceptional actor but also a talented director, producer, and writer, known for films like Nayakan, Indian, Hey Ram, Dasavathaaram, and Vishwaroopam. He has received numerous awards, including four National Film Awards and the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri from the Government of India. In 2018, he entered politics by launching the party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM), aiming to bring reform and transparency to Tamil Nadu's political landscape. Known for his intellect, social concern, and dedication to the arts, Kamal Haasan remains a towering figure in Indian culture and public life.
