Kiranben Solanki, an organic farmer and environmentalist from the Dangs region of Gujarat, has become a local pioneer in sustainable agriculture. In a region heavily impacted by deforestation and soil degradation, she shifted to organic farming practices, promoting eco-friendly methods that restore soil health and reduce chemical dependency. Through workshops and peer training, she has empowered other farmers especially women to adopt natural fertilizers, crop rotation, and water conservation techniques. Her grassroots leadership has not only improved livelihoods but also sparked a growing movement for environmental stewardship in tribal and rural communities, making her a quiet force for green change.
