Lalhmingmawii Darlong is a young member of the Darlong community in Tripura who carries forward her forefathers’ heritage by championing traditional folk music among younger audiences. She actively promotes the use of indigenous musical instrument such as the Rosem, helping keep alive Tripura’s folk sound traditions. By performing, teaching, and engaging youth, she plays a key role in preserving the cultural legacy of her community in today.
