Ramavatar Yadav

UNSUNG HEROES

Ramavatar Yadav is a tireless social worker and human rights activist from Darbhanga, Bihar, who has spent decades fighting for the rights of bonded laborers, exploited children, and marginalized communities. Coming from a modest background himself, Yadav witnessed the harsh realities of caste-based discrimination, child labor, and poverty from an early age which fueled his lifelong commitment to social justice.

Ramavatar Yadav works at the grassroots level, rescuing children from child labor, helping bonded laborers regain freedom, and supporting victims of social injustice through legal aid and rehabilitation. Despite limited resources and recognition, his efforts have helped hundreds of families break free from cycles of exploitation.
