Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, born on April 24, 1973, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the sport. Known as the “Master Blaster,” Tendulkar’s career spanned over two decades during which he redefined batting excellence with his technique, consistency, and sheer passion. He holds numerous records, including being the first cricketer to score 100 international centuries and the highest run-scorer in both Test and One-Day International formats. Sachin played a pivotal role in India’s 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup victory, fulfilling a lifelong dream for himself and millions of fans. Tendulkar was honored with the Bharat Ratna in 2014, becoming the first sportsperson to receive India’s highest civilian award.
