Sruti Mohapatra is a dedicated disability rights activist from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. After experiencing a life-changing accident, Sruti channeled her energy into advocating for the rights and dignity of differently-abled individuals. She founded Swabhiman, an organization committed to improving accessibility, inclusion, and social empowerment for people with disabilities.
One of Sruti’s notable achievements includes working tirelessly to secure accessibility to the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri for wheelchair users and others with mobility challenges, an effort that broke longstanding barriers.
