24-Hour Veena Marathon (Instrumental)

The 24-hour Veena marathon (instrumental) was performed by Prashanth Iyengar, a renowned Veena exponent from Karnataka. He achieved this remarkable feat on April 7–8, 2011, at the Srirangapatna Temple in Mandya district. During this uninterrupted performance, he played classical Carnatic compositions continuously for 24 hours, becoming the first Indian classical musician to do so on the Veena. His marathon concert earned him a place in the Limca Book of Records, highlighting both his technical mastery and deep devotion to the art form.
