Andhra Saraswatha Parishath

The Andhra Saraswatha Parishath, established in 1943 and based in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, is a renowned organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Telugu language, literature, and folklore. It organizes the biennial International Telugu Mahasabhalu, a grand cultural and literary festival that brings together writers, poets, scholars, and artists from around the world. The most recent event was held from January 5 to 7, 2024, at GIET Engineering College in Rajamahendravaram, attracting over 1 lakh (100,000) participants. This festival featured cultural programs, literary seminars, exhibitions, and performances that celebrated and showcased the rich heritage of Telugu culture, reinforcing the Parishath's mission to nurture and sustain Telugu literary and cultural traditions.
