← Arunachal Literature Festival

The 4th Arunachal Literature Festival was held from November 3 to 5, 2022, in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. Organized by the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS), the festival aimed to promote literature and provide a platform for both established and emerging writers. Themed “Building Bridges Through Literature”, the festival featured a series of literary sessions, including poetry recitations, short story readings, and workshops on poetry and novel writing. Discussions covered topics such as "Crossing Boundaries through Translation," "Theatre as an Art Form of Literature," and "Environment for the Preservation of Arunachal Language." Notable authors like Padmashri Mamang Dai and Y.D. Thongchi participated, sharing insights on their works and the importance of literature in preserving culture.
