The Classic Relay Dance Marathon by Students was conducted by Rithanjali Fine Arts in Madipakkam, Chennai, featuring a massive participation of 255 student dancers. The event showcased a mix of classical and folk-dance forms in a continuous relay performance that lasted for 30 hours, from 1:00 PM on 16 August to 7:00 PM on 17 August 2014. Recognized by the India Book of Records, this marathon highlighted the enthusiasm and stamina of young performers, while also promoting India’s rich cultural heritage through sustained artistic expression.
