← Folktale Writing Competition by RCML

The Folktale Writing Competition organized by the RIWATCH Centre for Mother Languages (RCML) on May 30, 2024, aimed to preserve and revitalize the indigenous languages and cultures of Arunachal Pradesh. The competition encouraged participants from all ethnic communities in the state to write folktales in their native languages, followed by English translations. This initiative sought to promote familiarity and proficiency in writing within their respective mother languages. The RCML announced the results of the competition on August 23, 2024, and an award ceremony for the outstanding writers was scheduled to be held at the RIWATCH campus, with the date to be announced soon.
