← Inter-School Art and Literary Competitions

The Inter-School Art and Literary Competitions held on August 13, 2023, at the Innovation Hub in the Science Centre, IG Park, Itanagar, brought together students from seven schools in the Itanagar Capital Region to showcase their creative and intellectual talents. Organized by NGOs Youth Mission for Clean River and Abralow Memorial Multipurpose Society, in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre and supported by the Itanagar Smart City Development Corporation Limited, the event featured painting, essay writing, and quiz competitions across Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior categories, focusing on themes such as environmental conservation, sustainable development, and safeguarding local rivers and forests. The competitions engaged over 140 students and spanned several hours, allowing participants to fully express their creativity while promoting awareness of ecological issues. Winners were awarded certificates and eco-friendly plantable pens, pencils, and notepads, while all participants received recognition for their contributions, reflecting the event’s emphasis on fostering both creativity and environmental consciousness among the youth.
