← Language-Based Literary Competitions in Schools

From April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, the Uttarakhand Bhasha Sansthan conducted a state-wide initiative to ignite literary interest among students in classes 6 through 12 by organizing a variety of language-based competitions. These included drama/scriptwriting, essay, short story, travelogue, poetry, and extempore speech contests, designed to nurture creative expression with an emphasis on regional languages and dialects such as Garhwali, Kumaoni, Jaunsari, and folk dialects alongside Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
