The Largest Bathukamma Floral Art Display was created in 2017 at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, where volunteers, artists, and cultural organizations came together to design a massive 20,000 sq. ft. floral arrangement depicting the iconic Bathukamma, Telangana’s cultural symbol. Using lakhs of seasonal flowers such as gunugu, thangedu, banthi, and chamanti, the artwork showcased the vibrant spirit of the festival. The event attracted over 30,000 visitors, including locals, tourists, and dignitaries, setting a cultural record and highlighting Telangana’s unique tradition of celebrating nature, womanhood, and community through Bathukamma.
