The Largest Bihu Dance Performance in Assam took place on April 13, 2023, at Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati, where a total of 11,304 dancers and drummers participated. This grand event not only showcased the vibrant traditional Bihu dance of Assam but also set two Guinness World Records: one for the largest Bihu dance and another for the largest ensemble of Assamese drummers, with 2,548 drummers performing in perfect synchronization. The celebration highlighted Assam’s rich cultural heritage and drew attention to the state’s folk traditions on a global platform.
