Largest Classical Dance Ensemble (500 performers)

On September 19, 2012, the Sree Vidyaranya Yuvaka Sangha organized the largest classical dance ensemble in Karnataka, featuring 500 performers from 34 different schools across the state. The event took place along DVG Road in Bengaluru as part of the Ganesha festival celebrations. Dancers simultaneously performed seven Indian classical dance forms, including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri, and Kathakali. The spectacle drew a crowd of over 15,000 spectators, making it not only a record-setting cultural moment but also a grand public celebration of India's classical dance heritage. This performance was recognized by the Limca Book of Records.
