The record for the largest clay Ganesha idol was set in 2016 by the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh Mandal in Mumbai. The idol, made entirely of clay, stood at a towering height of 35 feet and was displayed during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The idol, which is one of the most famous and revered in Mumbai, is known for its massive size, intricate details, and the elaborate decorations surrounding it. Each year, millions of devotees and visitors flock to see this iconic idol, and in 2016, it made history for its record-breaking dimensions. The creation of this idol also symbolizes the deep devotion and craftsmanship that goes into celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtra.
