In 2018, Rajkot, Gujarat, witnessed a remarkable artistic achievement when a group of dedicated artists and students collaborated to create the largest collage painting in the region. This monumental artwork, measuring an impressive 17,000 square feet, was meticulously crafted using a variety of materials, including newspapers, ornaments, clothes, paper, and wood sticks. The project was spearheaded by Vallabh Bhai Parmar, an artist and painter from Rajkot, who undertook the creation of over 3,800 paintings and artifacts centered around the theme of the Indian national bird, the peacock. This endeavor not only showcased the immense talent and creativity of the participants but also set a new World Record between the years 2014 and 2018.
