The Largest Gathering of Sikhs in Punjab was recorded at Anandpur Sahib from 13 to 17 April 1999, during the grand celebration of the 300th anniversary of the Khalsa Panth. The historic event drew an estimated 8 million Sikhs, with more than 3.5 million devotees assembling on Vaisakhi day (13 April) alone. This massive congregation, recognized by the Guinness World Records, reflected the deep spiritual devotion and unity of the Sikh community. It stands as a landmark moment in Punjab’s cultural and religious history, showcasing the enduring strength of Sikh faith and the significance of Anandpur Sahib as a sacred center of Sikhism.
