On 30 August 2023, at the Kuttanellur Government College grounds in Thrissur, over 7,027 women from Kerala's state-run empowerment network Kudumbashree came together to perform the traditional group dance Kaikottikali (also known as Thiruvathirakali) as part of the Onam festivities, setting a new world record for the largest performance of its kind- a feat now enshrined in both the Limca Book of World Records and the Talent World Records.
