The Largest Kaikottikali (Thiruvathirakali) Dance was held on May 1, 2017, at Kizhakkambalam in Ernakulam district, Kerala, where 6,582 women and girls performed the traditional group dance in perfect coordination. Organized by Twenty20 Kizhakkambalam Association, Kitex Group, Parvanendu School of Thiruvathira, and Chavara Cultural Centre, the 16-minute performance featured participants aged between 10 and 75, celebrating Kerala’s cultural identity and earning a Guinness World Record for the largest Thiruvathirakali gathering.
