The largest painting using punched dots was created by Malatesh M. Garadimani from Karnataka and officially recognized by Unique World Records. The artwork measured 240 cm × 120 cm and was made entirely using 222,222 punched colored paper dots all sourced from recycled paper. The painting beautifully depicted roads, houses, and plantations from the ancient town of Banavasi, reflecting both cultural heritage and eco-conscious artistry. The creation was unveiled during a public event held in Bagalkot district, which drew a crowd of around 300 attendees, including local artists, students, and art enthusiasts who witnessed the intricate piece and celebrated its record-setting detail and environmental message.
