The Largest Twist Dance Performance took place in Karnal, Haryana, on 3 September 2017, at OPS Vidya Mandir, where 463 youngsters aged between 5 and 18 performed a synchronized Twist dance for 5 minutes and 44 seconds. This record-setting performance was organized to promote the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” initiative and showcased the energy, coordination, and enthusiasm of the participants. Recognized by the International Book of Records, the event highlighted Haryana’s commitment to encouraging youth participation in cultural activities while preserving the fun and spirit of dance as a form of community engagement and celebration.
