In 2012, the Dainik Bhaskar Group organized the largest writing competition in India, involving a staggering 300,874 participants across 12 states and 52 cities. The event aimed to promote literacy, creative expression, and writing skills among people of all ages. This massive, coordinated effort not only set a Guinness World Record but also highlighted Delhi’s pivotal role in fostering literary culture and encouraging widespread participation in the art of writing.
