The longest dance marathon by an individual was achieved by 16-year-old Srushti Sudhir Jagtap from Latur, Maharashtra, who danced continuously in the Kathak style for 127 hours, beginning on the morning of May 29, 2023, and concluding on the afternoon of June 3, 2023, at the auditorium of Dayanand College, which was “jampacked with supporters,” as described by the Guinness Official Adjudicator Swapnil Dangarikar.
