The Longest Devotional Song Rendition was organized in Puri, Odisha, on 6 July 2018, during the grand celebrations of the Jagannath Ratha Yatra, where bhajan mandalis and devotional singers performed 15 hours of uninterrupted bhajans and kirtans in praise of Lord Jagannath. The event, coordinated by local temple committees and cultural groups, brought together hundreds of singers and musicians who sang in rotation, ensuring a seamless flow of devotional music. This marathon performance not only set a record for the longest devotional singing event in Odisha but also reflected the city’s spiritual fervor and its timeless tradition of music offered in devotion to the Lord of the Universe.
