The marathon lasted an impressive 40 continuous hours and took place on 21–22 September 2002 at the Santhome Montfort School Auditorium in Chennai. This extraordinary feat involved performing hundreds of songs across various genres and languages, showcasing exceptional vocal stamina and musical coordination. It was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records, marking a significant achievement in the realm of Indian music marathons.
