The Longest Narrow Painted Canvas Roll in Assam was created by Sangeeta Chutia on August 26, 2020. The canvas roll measured an astounding 168 meters and featured 4,200 miniature paintings (each 4 cm × 5 cm) covering 28 themes, including portraits, flags, animals, and plants. The event drew over 600 people who came to witness the meticulous and detailed work, celebrating Assam’s rich artistic traditions and the dedication of the artist in setting a unique record.
