The longest non-stop violin solo concert was performed by L. Athira Krishna, Carnatic violinist from Kerala, who on 3 December 2003 presented a marathon recital titled Nadhabrahma in Thiruvananthapuram, playing continuously for 32 hours and setting a Guinness World Record; the event, dedicated to global peace and harmony, was witnessed by an audience of around 900 people, who stayed in shifts to encourage and support her throughout the performance, making it both a cultural milestone and a testament to endurance in Indian classical music.
