The Longest Odissi Dance Marathon was held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where a dedicated group of classical dancers performed continuously for 28 hours showcasing the grace, rhythm, and devotional essence of Odissi, one of India’s eight classical dance forms. The event, organized on 23–24 December 2018, brought together accomplished artistes and young performers who took turns to maintain the flow of the performance without a break, thereby setting a cultural milestone for Odisha and highlighting its deep-rooted tradition of dance and devotion.
