On February 20, 2021, pianist Timothy K. Abraham from Kerala set the record for the Longest Piano Marathon (Individual – India) by performing continuously for an astonishing 140 hours at a specially organized venue in Kochi. The event drew hundreds of attendees across the six days, with music enthusiasts, students, and cultural supporters visiting in shifts to witness different stretches of his performance. Recognized by the Best of India Records, the marathon not only showcased Timothy’s exceptional endurance and mastery over diverse genres of piano music but also became a cultural highlight, inspiring young musicians across India.
