The Mangan Music Festival, one of Sikkim’s most vibrant cultural celebrations, is held every year from December 12 to 14 in Mangan, North Sikkim, showcasing a mix of local folk songs, traditional dances, and contemporary band performances from across the Northeast. Alongside the music, the festival hosts handicraft exhibitions, food stalls, and cultural displays, creating a carnival-like atmosphere. On average, the event draws several thousand visitors over the three days with estimates ranging between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees annually making it one of the most popular music gatherings in the state that highlights both indigenous heritage and modern talent.
