← National Tribal Dance Competition

In early January 2020, the Sikkim State Culture Department troupe performed the Tamang Selo folk dance at a National Tribal Dance Competition in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, securing 3rd place among 26 states. Their performance earned them a trophy, a certificate, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. The team comprised five dancers, two singers, two musicians, and a troupe leader, and the event also featured international artists, with Rahul Gandhi serving as the chief guest.
