The Performing Arts Championship – 2025 was a vibrant cultural event held on July 12, 2025, at the Town Hall in Poonch, Jammu & Kashmir. Organized by the Nizamiya Welfare Trust in collaboration with the Harman Cultural & Educational Society, the competition aimed to showcase and nurture the artistic talents of children and youth from Poonch and surrounding rural areas. Participants engaged in various categories, including dance, singing, acting, and art & craft, demonstrating exceptional creativity and skill. The judging panel featured renowned artists such as Suhani Sharma, an international gold medalist in singing, and Gurvinder Kaur, a distinguished classical and Bhangra expert from Jammu & Kashmir. Over 30 participants competed, with winners selected for the upcoming state-level competition, highlighting the region's rich cultural heritage and the promising future of its young artists.
