The 4th State-Level Essay Writing Competition was organized in memory of Dr. Arya Bhushan Garg and took place in the Hall of Justice at the Dr. Nagendra Singh Library, Roorkee, involving undergraduate and postgraduate students from government and aided colleges across all 13 districts of Uttarakhand. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Rahul Dev Garg from IIT Roorkee, the competition tackled the theme “Due to the Lack of Constant Vigil in Every Field, Women in India Are Not Safe Challenges and Solutions.” The winners Aaradhya Mishra (1st), Priyanshika (2nd), and Akshita Pant (3rd) were honored along with five consolation prize recipients, in a ceremony attended by Justice Prashant Joshi (Guest of Honor) and Dr. Peeyush Kumar (Director of the library) among others.
