The Shravani Mela in Deoghar, Jharkhand, is a month-long religious and cultural festival held annually during the Hindu month of Shravan (July–August) in honor of Lord Shiva. Millions of devotees, often referred to as Kanwariyas, undertake a pilgrimage to the Baidhyanath Jyotirlinga temple, carrying sacred water from the Ganges to offer to the deity.
