← Surya Namaskar Marathon

The Surya Namaskar Marathon was a record-setting event held on April 8, 2025, at the Araku Valley Degree College in Alluri district, Andhra Pradesh, where around 20,000 tribal students performed 108 Surya Namaskaras each in unison. Organized as part of a statewide health and cultural initiative, the event lasted approximately two hours and earned a Guinness World Record, showcasing the state’s commitment to promoting yoga, discipline, and physical well-being, especially among students from remote and tribal areas.
