The state with least number of districts in India

Goa, the smallest state by number of districts in India, comprises only two districts: North Goa and South Goa. North Goa spans an area of 1,736 sq km and lies between 15°48'00" N to 14°53'54" N latitudes and 73°E to 75°E longitudes. It borders Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri and Kolhapur districts to the north and adjoins South Goa to the south.

South Goa covers an area of 1,966 sq km, lying between 15°29'32" N to 14°53'57" N latitudes and 73°46'21" E to 74°20'11" E longitudes. It is bounded by the Arabian Sea to the west, North Goa to the north, and Karnataka’s Uttara Kannada district to the south and east. Together, these two districts form the vibrant and scenic coastal state of Goa.
