This is to proudly certify that Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi has been officially recognized as India’s Largest Airport Terminal and one of the world’s most advanced aviation hubs Built in a record 37 months at a cost of Rs 127 billion this engineering marvel can handle 34 million passengers annually contributing to the airport’s total capacity of 60 million passengers per year with scope to expand to 100 million through phased developments T3 is ranked as the fifth largest airport terminal in the world and the eighth largest passenger terminal by size showcasing India’s infrastructural excellence.

Equipped with 48 boarding gates 63 elevators 78 aerobridges including three designed exclusively for Airbus A380 aircraft along with 168 check in counters and 90 immigration counters Terminal 3 has also earned the distinction of becoming the world’s first and largest terminal to receive the prestigious LEED NC Gold Rating for green building design This record has been officially adjudicated by Dr Nagarjuna Babu Advocate Supreme Court of India and Dr Pavani Adjudicator Indian Book of Records Hyderabad India.
