Uniting Through Yoga
International Yoga Day is celebrated on June 21st, initiated by India and officially adopted by the United Nations in 2014. The first celebration took place in 2015, promoting yoga as a holistic approach to health, well-being, and global harmony.
India Stretches in Unity
In India, International Yoga Day is celebrated with mass yoga sessions in public parks, schools, government offices, and even iconic landmarks. Led by the Prime Minister and supported by the Ministry of AYUSH, the day promotes physical and mental well-being across the country.
