Dr. Humaira Showkat is an academic based in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Kashmir Studies, University of Kashmir. She has been in this role since around 2010, involved in teaching and research in cultural studies. She also works with the National Service Scheme at her university as a Programme Officer.
