Raja Man Singh I (1550–1614) was a prominent Rajput ruler of Amber (now Jaipur, Rajasthan) and one of the most trusted generals of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Known for his military skill and diplomatic acumen, he played a key role in several important Mughal campaigns across India, including battles in Bengal, Gujarat, and the Deccan. Despite serving the Mughals, Man Singh maintained his Rajput pride and worked to strengthen his kingdom’s influence.
