Ramveer Tanwar, widely known as the “Pond Man of India,” is an environmental crusader from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, who has dedicated his life to water conservation and ecological restoration. Through his initiative called Say Earth, Ramveer has successfully restored nearly 80 ponds across multiple states, transforming neglected water bodies into thriving ecosystems.

Ramveer’s efforts have brought much-needed attention to the importance of preserving natural water resources in India, especially in urban and semi-urban areas facing rapid development and environmental degradation. By involving local communities and promoting sustainable practices, he has created a model for effective environmental stewardship. His commitment and achievements have earned him national recognition, inspiring many young environmentalists in Uttar Pradesh and beyond to take action for the planet.
