Revathi, a passionate educator from Guntur, has brought the magic of books to children in underserved rural and urban communities through her unique initiative as “The Mobile Librarian.” Transforming an old van into a traveling library, she delivers donated Telugu and English children’s books to villages and slums, reaching over 2,000 children across more than 50 locations.Beyond lending books, Revathi engages kids with storytelling sessions, reading games, and language lessons, nurturing curiosity and creativity where formal education is often lacking. Her dedication proves that education can transcend traditional classrooms, offering hope and opportunity through the simple power of reading. As she says, “If a child can’t reach a library, let the library reach the child.”
